Welcome to the How I Partied page!

If you have recently hosted a great party or celebration, this is the part of the blog where I would really love to hear from you!.

♥ The Fun Bit

Trawlergirl loves to share celebration and party inspiration.  There is no denying that it’s lovely to look at gorgeous images or try out a new cocktail that you may find a recipe for on these pages.

However, what truly makes a great party are the people involved and the time and effort that is made to ensure that the guests have a truly memorable time.  Yes, I mean you!

I would love for this blog to be a place where people can share their real parties. Styled shoots are gorgeous, pictures of stunning decorations, food and drinks, but actually seeing how other people partied, how they did it their way, surely has to be one of the greatest inspiration boards we can have and share?.

There are lots of blogs out there too for childrens parties, hell I’ve done a few of those in my time! but what about the grown ups?  We still like to party.  I am having more fun at parties now than I ever did in my teens and I bet that you are too.

Be proud that you are still partying, living for the moment and having a fine old time.   Share it too, share it here, with others, just like me and you.

The parties can be any occasion or location, from your back yard to a stately home and anywhere in between!. The only stipulation is that the images submitted depict good clean fun only!  A bare bottom will never grace the pages of Trawlergirl, thats for sure!

Are you in? Are you with me?  I sure hope that you are!

♥ The Techie Bit

Please send your submissions to me at trawlergirl22@gmail.com and include the following:

Your name,  the occasion, the date of the party and the location.

Confirmation that you have permission from the photographer (if they are professional shots) that the images can be used. Make sure everyone who is in the photographs are happy to be featured on this blog.

In the first instance, please send me 15-20 images from the event but with a low resolution and just 500 pixels wide, 72 dpi.  My computer won’t be able to cope with high resolution images as the files will be just too large.

I would love to see images of your guests,  the decor, the details, the entertainment etc.   In fact images of anything that made your party really pop!

I will then contact you via email within 48 hours to let you know when I will be featuring your party.  I will include a short questionnaire for you to complete too . It’s your chance to fill me in on all the details. Once your party is  published, you will be presented with your very own  ‘How I Partied’ badge to display on your website or FB page.
